About Key Peninsula Bischoff Food Bank

In 2006, Ross Bischoff started handing out food on a small table at the Key Peninsula Lutheran Church. Ross passed away shortly after starting our food bank. Wally Haugaard then took over the vision and grew the food bank into what we have become today over the course of 8 years. In 2013, the food bank had grown so large that we were no longer able to operate out of the KP Lutheran Church and had to find a larger facility. We have been at our current location since June 2014. We are open to our clients 5 days per week. We are the ONLY food bank on the Peninsula that allows clients to shop once per week. We are always in need of your financial support to help offset operating expenses! The Key Peninsula Bischoff Food Bank is and always has been a 100% volunteer based organization.
