Hi, this is Sarah! Thanks for your desire to help care for our parents through our mom's battle with pancreatic cancer. 1) If you would like to help them with a financial gift, feel free to use the "Donate via PayPal" button on the right hand side of this site. There are both one-time as well as monthly gift options. Even with helpful coverage for her big treatment bills, battling pancreatic cancer can be expensive, as you can imagine. Mom has needed to stop working her part-time job and forgo the income from that as well as accumulate more expenses than usual for things like more expensive diet options, supplements, etc. We (her children) want to create an opportunity for anyone who would like to share in their financial needs to do so. Feel free to take advantage of the "donate via PayPal" option if so led. No fee is deducted from your gift if you select the family and friend option and if the the funds come from your bank account or PayPal balance (fees apply if using a credit or debit card). 2) If you would like to bring a meal, there are 2 different types of meals that would help out our parents (they each are eating very differently than the other). If you sign up for a date, please note either "Karla Meal" or "Geoff Meal" in the sign-up field (as well as any other description of what you plan to bring). Below are the notes for each meal-type. (Saturdays will be the most helpful day for a meal, but we have included Wednesdays on the schedule as well.) KARLA: - all organic, - gluten-free, - sugar-free, - avoiding gas-inducing foods (like beans, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, cabbage...) - small portion sizes. GEOFF: His only notable diet preference would be no cooked vegetables (salads and raw veggies are good, and cooked green beans too).
