Story
A few months back, I posted about how I had finally gotten a surgeon to take my case to take another look at my Chiari 1 malformation, but that he ended up finding that a majority of my thoracic spine was in severe trouble. I need a spinal fusion from T3 to T7 and they will also be placing rods and pins on both sides to stabilize the fusion.! Recovery it’s going to be long and difficult. I really have the hardest time accepting help. However I really do want to get better!! This will allow people to select days and meals to help provide just to kind of take some worry and duties off of Gram for the first few weeks.. It will come with a list of likes and dislikes preferences so we make sure people aren’t wasting their time or money when offering to help with this. Because any and all help is extremely appreciated ❤️🫶🏼 I’m also in extreme need of a recliner or rocking chair still, I feel this would very helpful in the few weeks post op! I’ve done a lot of reading and I’ve had a lot of terrifying moments realization the past few days. I know that the weeks of no bending twisting and turning is going to go against my EVERY instinct. Trying to be compliant and heal as best as I can and as fast as I can is my #1 priority.
Special Notes
if on one of the days that we have breakfast scheduled and lunch you want to switch lunch to dinner that’s fine just mention it. we do prefer lower card because of a healthier diet and Maizey‘s diabetes. The protein will help me heal better too. Not opposed to some sweets here and there, (we still like to enjoy the good things too). I do not like soup, beans and ham or green beans, ham and potatoes made together. we do have a dog he barks but he absolutely will not bite.
