Hello friends and family, I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend and sister in Christ, Carmen Caraballo, who was diagnosed with leukemia in January of this year. This unexpected diagnosis was a shock to everyone who loves her. Carmen has been receiving excellent care from the doctors at Hackensack University Medical Center, and at one point, they declared her cancer-free. However, due to unforeseen complications, chemotherapy could not start as planned, and her cancer has returned. Carmen has always been a source of joy and support for others, including my family and many others, always selfless and giving without expecting anything in return. Now, it's our turn to support her. As you know, Cancer impacts not just the patient but also those who care for them. Carmen is fortunate to have a healthy mother in her 80s, a loving husband, and a supportive son who care for her daily. However, they need our help to alleviate some of their burdens.
