JJ was diagnosed with pneumonia last week that progressed very quickly and eventually ended up in the ICU at Stanford . He underwent surgery with chest tube placement to help alleviate his respiratory status and drain the infection . It has been a roller coaster ride the last week while Physicians determine treatment options , titration of oxygen requirements and pain control / sedation for little JJ. This platform was started to help alleviate some of the burden on JJ’s family as they have 2 other children at home and are tag teaming being in the hospital with JJ (as only his parents are allowed in the ICU).
