Melina is a full time single mother of 5 kids.  December 2 at 12:30pm she will be having major surgery. She has a 3 yr old son who has Down’s syndrome. She is always helping and taking care of  people and now I am reaching out for us to give back to her. She will be in a min.of 6 weeks of recovery. Week 1 and 2 will be in the hospital and than at home with no moving. Week 3 and 4 she will be able to get up but not for long periods and zero lifting. Week 5 and 6 she will be up more and still no lifting while she heals from the surgery.   She will not be able to work and she is the sole provider for this family. She does not receive help financially or physically. She will be enduring medical bills, household bills, child care for Timmy, and holiday expenses. With her not working for the next several months this puts her holidays very slim in giving to the kids. Timmy has extra expenses because of his care that he will need while she is healing. He will need care 24/7 in their home. She tried daycare but they said she had to have a aide to help. So, the best spot for now is him at home. Let’s help me get through this time and not have to worry about all these other things.
