Story
This is a request to support a strong leader in the Bulverde/Spring Branch school and business community, Nichole Keith, who lost her home and all personal belongings due to a fire on May 19. Nichole and her two teens, Coleby and Ryleigh, thankfully escaped from the flames safely, but only with the clothes they were wearing. Nichole is a pillar in the Comal ISD school community. Serving as President of the Rahe Bulverde Elementary School PTA for two years, she led the effort to rebuild the school community after the COVID-19 shutdown and raised funds to support much needed science, literacy and mental health programs. Her leadership efforts boosted morale for students, staff and parents leaving a strong Bronco legacy that continues today. For the past two years, Nichole has served as the PTA President for Spring Branch Middle School and serves as the Chair of the Cheer Booster program. Most days, Nichole can be found on campus fulfilling the needs of staff and students and envisioning ways to further build the school community. Under her leadership, the PTA fundraising efforts increased threefold to benefit student academic and extracurricular programs and support the needs of teachers. Nichole works tirelessly to improve and support programs that benefit not only her own children, but all children in the Comal ISD community. When a need arises, Nichole does not hesitate to offer help…even serving as PTA President for Startzville Elementary School, a school where she had no connection other than her PTA experience. Amazingly, Nichole finds the time to run local businesses in the Bulverde community. She is a co-owner of the Sam I Am Boutique on Blanco Road, and takes the Boutique on the road to various venues such as the San Antonio Rodeo. She also owned and managed the former Rustic Bean Coffee Shop. Those close to Nichole know her as a visionary who can rally the community and do whatever it takes to get the job done. She is a devoted mother who wants only the best for her kids and takes it upon herself to make their dreams and desires come true. Nichole is normally known as a very private and personal individual. However, given this personal tragedy it is our hope that people will rally for someone who has devoted so much of her own time, energy and care to our community.
