Story
On April 22nd, Megan went into preterm labor at 28 weeks and was transferred to Macon. The wonderful staff tried everything they could to stop labor from progressing over the next few days. Despite all best attempts, on April 26th at 2:08 am, Megan and Alex welcomed a tiny but mighty 2lb 15oz baby Theo to the world. He was immediately taken to the NICU for care. Theo will be in the NICU until at least July 15th (his original due date) when he is strong enough to go home to get some puppy kisses from Blair, Stella, and Drake and settle into being loved on by his amazing mama and daddy. “What can we do, how can we help?” The biggest needs right now are just everyday eats and some personal supplies along the way. So gift cards are probably the most beneficial. Whether they be just generic cards in general to restaurants, or places like Walmart/Target. Alex will be driving back and forth from Fitzgerald because he is trying to work some and has to stay with the dogs as much as possible. So gas cards would also be much appreciated. Megan and Alex got accepted to stay at the Ronald McDonald house near the hospital to stay close to baby Theo. At some point before they check out, they will have to make a donation to cover their stay. Their requested/suggested donation is $20/day if possible. They don’t have to give anything until they check out which will be months from now - so if you’d like to send money via venmo for this, that would also be extremely helpful. While Megan and Alex give their all to baby Theo, they’d also like to express their heartfelt gratitude for everyone’s love and prayers. Thank you for any little bit you can help during Theo’s early arrival. It is very much appreciated.
Special Notes
Due to Alex traveling back and forth, if you sign up for a meal it would be best to provide a gift card instead of sending to their address directly.
