Leanne had a stroke at the end of April. Her symptoms started mild, and were easily confused with just being ill. After a couple of days, her symptoms progressed and developed into weakness and dizziness. When we brought her to the hospital, tests confirmed that Leanne had another stroke affecting her mid-brain. During her hospitalization and rehab, she has had ups & downs, and currently she has very limited mobility on her right side, left eye ptosis, confusion and some other symptoms. She has been discharged from in-patient rehab and will continue receiving care in an out-patient format until she can hopefully become independent once again.
