Shari's New Knee

Lakewood, WA

Story

Greetings dear family & friends! Many of you have asked how you can help support me after my knee replacement surgery on February 27 at 7:00am. First, I am eternally grateful for all of your love, prayers, and good energy. I am off of work for the month of March and it would be great to hear from you or see your smile. And it would be helpful for Walt to have break now and then. Walt is getting daily radiation treatments to tame his spinal tumor - every weekday for 25 days - so coordinating with him to allow 90 minutes away for the first week after my surgery would be awesome! :) I will be recovering in a new home that we have not yet moved in to, so occasional meal delivery would be helpful too. Our new one-story home will be perfect for recovery because there is very little to trip on. [NOTE: We do not need help moving right now; maybe later.] In Gratitude, Shari .

Special Notes

If you are wondering about food, I prefer healthy & organic. And my nutrition goals for healing target protein, calcium, zinc, good carbs, vitamins A, D, and E: lean meat or seafood, eggs, yogurt, dark leafy greens/spinach, whole grain oats, brown rice, good fats. One pan vegetable and meat dishes are great.
