Love and Meals to Support the Humphrey Family

Sandy, OR

Story

Greetings friends! Friday June 12th, Marci and Joe received some unfortunate news after a visit to the emergency room Thursday evening. Marci has had non-stop headaches for weeks, which were caused by what we now know to be a Golf Ball size tumor on her frontal lobe. Marci will be undergoing surgery today, Friday afternoon and Joe is the only person who is allowed in the hospital with her. Please keep Marci in your prayers and thoughts. For this type of surgery swelling in the brain is expected after surgery, so recovery will take time and the benefits will not be immediately apparent. It can take some time to recover from a brain tumor operation. Everyone takes a different amount of time to recover. It is unclear as to how long she will need to stay in hospital, and it can range anywhere from 3 to 10 days after surgery. How long the stay in hospital depends on the operation and how long she takes to recover. Love for Marci and supports to the Humphrey is greatly appreciated. Let’s rally around them and show them how much they are loved they are! Right now we want to make sure they are well fed, and we will update this page as their needs change. Thank you so much for your love and support!

Special Notes

At this time, there is a request for no visitors due to COVID-19 to ensure that we protect Marci's immune system
