Dear family and friends, Thank you for visiting this page. If you’re here, chances are you love Marlene and want to know how you can help and support her. On Monday, June 3 2024, Marlene was in a serious car accident. She collided with a semi, broke 7 ribs, suffered some seizures and ended up in the hospital for a few days. She is now in the care of Tara, my big sister who lives in South Beloit, IL. Tara and Tami have been doing all they can to make my mom comfortable while she heals and adjusts to a less independent life. There are some financial ramifications from the accident, along with gas and grocery and medical expenses if you’re wondering how you can help in a tangible way. Phone calls to Marlene are also so helpful for her morale and keep her spirits up! The future is unsure. She will no longer be driving or living alone. We will need the support of our family and community to help us as we do our best to care for our mom and figure out how to improve quality of life for her. Thank you for being in our lives.
