Story
In light of Charity's recent health struggles, we've organized a meal train to provide support and comfort during this challenging time. After contracting an illness in Cabo, she's been grappling with a range of symptoms, particularly neurological in nature. These symptoms manifest in unpredictable waves of attacks, bringing sensations like tingling, numbness, weakness, and severe headaches, among others. Despite the intensity of these episodes, there's a silver lining: once they pass, she finds some relief, though still feeling drained. As she navigates this journey, the love and warmth of our community are invaluable. Through the meal train, we aim to offer not just nourishment but also a reminder that she's surrounded by care and solidarity. Your contributions will not only ease the burden of meal preparation but also serve as a heartfelt gesture of support during her moments of rest and recovery, allowing her to focus on healing and spending cherished time with her family. Thank you for joining us in extending love and comfort during this difficult time.
Special Notes
When providing meals for The Dunphys, please no spicy food or seafood as the kids wont eat. Also, dinners are the most helpful meal, and making food and bringing it just as welcome (if not more so) as ordering food deliveries and gift cards! Foods liked the most are: Italian, Thai, Greek, Mexican & general American Food. Please contact Matt (Charity's husband) to coordinate dropoff at 858-774-5211 if a handoff is needed. Their home's front door is up the steps to the house and tucked away from the street, so its also fine to just drop food off on the porch. Please find the Dunphy's address in an internal SEA email we will be sending out. Thank you!
