What started as a wonderful day watching Grayson’s football scrimmage took a dramatic turn when I ended up in an ambulance, initially thinking I had a dislocated kneecap, only to find out that I had completely broken it in half. I’m so grateful to everyone who has reached out and offered their support in any way. A special shout-out to Garin for being my rock through all of this—waking up with every move I make, helping me get around, and just being there for me. I appreciate you more than words can express! The kids were really upset and scared after witnessing everything last night, and I felt terrible that they had to go through that. But they’ve been amazing—cleaning out my car, helping around the house more than usual, and always checking to make sure I’m okay. Grayson even told the nurse last night that he was going to make me breakfast (we ended up having Casey’s donuts, which still counts in my book, lol). I’m incredibly lucky to have such an amazing team by my side 😘.
