Care Packages for Lynette

Islip Terrace, NY

Story

This page is for my sister Lynette, who has been nothing but brave and strong. Since 2017, she has been fighting breast cancer, and with a successful double mastectomy in July and chemotherapy treatments, she has persevered. Unfortunately, her fight is far from over. She still suffers from repercussions from breast cancer. Most recently, she was diagnosed with hyperplasia where evidence of cancer-causing cells was found in her uterine wall. She is scheduled to have a hysterectomy to help give her a chance of not getting cancer again (surgery is January 27, 2020). Yet again, she will be out of work due to the many downfalls of breast cancer, and I just want some help in seeing that this time she is comfortable. If we all can band together as we have done before, we can help see her through this crisis as this is the fourth time she will be out of work. Being out of work really puts a toll on them financially, Lynette is the main source of medical, and they have to pay out of pocket. This expense for a family of four takes a chunk away every single month. Lynette and Dan are hardworking people. Throughout all of this, they have provided for their awesome sons, Matthew and James, and they have been struggling to get back on their feet. They never ask for help - they are proud, but I am the one asking, and I know any help is welcomed. By starting this fundraiser, we can help lessen their burden a bit, and see Lynette through this difficult time. Lynette can focus on getting better and apply any extra funds to their bills like out of pocket medical bills, childcare, and other everyday necessities. We have all been on this journey with her, but we do not face it like she has been doing every day. Let's face it with her and help her any way we can - even if you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser. Sharing is so important - you have no idea! Please ALSO PRAY! Pray like you never prayed before, send good vibes, send positive energy out toward Lynette and her family. ANYTHING HELPS! Leave comments too! She will be so happy to see HOW MANY PEOPLE LOVE HER! Thank you so much from me, our families - we have all been walking in a fog and I realize now this cancer isn't giving up - we cannot give up on Lynette - WE HAVE TO FIGHT! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions via Facebook or email at [email protected]
