Story
On September 12th, Brother Bobby Claiborne was in a car accident that he then became aware that he was in the week or previous week with having series of acute strokes causing deficits in his vision and balance. Thankfully to the medical team at MVC they were able to identify the cause of the strokes and he is now recovering from the rehabilitation center. He was released from the center on Monday, Sept 30th. As many know Bobby, he has been a pillar in his community from Emporia, Virginia to Petersburg to Prince George Virginia. He participates in his Fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi (Ft Lee chapter) and is a member and committed servant to his churches Pleasent Grove Baptist (Prince George) and Salem Baptist (childhood church in Emporia). He is a loving father, brother, and member of the community. His family is very comfortable with his medical support through insurance but as you may know not all services are covered in insurance. Many people have reached out on how they can help support. While Bobby is recovering one way to show support is through providing meals and other small essentials to alleviate any stress and allow Bobby to heal and focus on his recovery. Additional funds will be used for in home care that help Bobby transition back into his normal days of life. Doctors are estimating a month or two for full cognitive and physical recovery. We his kids thank you in advance for any amount of support you can provide through calls, texts, gift cards etc. Again we thank you. 🙏🏾 Please feel free to contact Clarissa at 804.926.9484 if you would like to arrange a visit to see Brother Claiborne. With love, Clarissa, Robert and Isaiah
