One of our Plumas Lake families is in need of our help. Kellita Ruiz who is known for helping many others here in our community is having surgery this Monday September 21st. She will be down and unable to assist her husband with their 6 children during this time. The most challenging time of the day besides helping her children with distance learning will be dinner meals. I was hoping our wonderful community could come together as we always do to help her and her family out during this challenging time. She will need help for dinner meals for 2 adults and 6 children from Monday September 21st through Monday September 28th. Dinners will need to be dropped off from 5:00-5:15pm which 5:30pm is generally their meal time. I will be starting it off by by preparing and dropping off spaghetti, garden salad, and cheese my garlic bread sticks, and desert. this Monday September the 21st. Please check calendar to see updates. We are currently in need of Tuesday the 22nd, Wed. the 23rd, Friday the 25th, and Saturday the 26th. It would be so wonderful if others could help with support as she has done for others. Some ideas the family has provided are tacos, burritos, hamburgers, Sloppy Joes, etc. Even meal kits or even gift cards to restaurants that have local delivery here in Plumas Lake (Pizza Hut, Round Table, Neighbors Pizza, etc.) would be extremely helpful.
