In May Cynthia was diagnosed with tonsil cancer. It had already moved into several lymph nodes by the time it was diagnosed. This past week she had surgery at the Mayo where they removed 44 lymph nodes from her neck and as well as her right tonsil. She returned home on Saturday. It is still difficult for Cynthia to swallow, but she remains in good spirits as she figures out which foods are easier on her throat once pureed. Let's bless Cynthia and Dave with a few meals as Cynthia recovers and regains her strength.
