I suppose you already know or you wouldn't be here, but the Snow Queen herself suffered a pretty sever knee injury on the slopes of Mt Mansfield. Unfortunately, much of the fall directly impacted a knee replacement she had previously had performed. As many of you know, if she isn't skiing, she is driving or at the grocery store. Unfortunately, she will not be doing any of the three for some time. I put this together to help organize ways they people could offer a little extra help during her time of immobility. She had the surgery Thursday 3/28 and as of 9am Friday 3/29 she was already requesting her 2nd cup of coffee during her recovery at the Copley Hospital in Morrisville, VT. Depending on her progression she is hoping to get out by Tuesday to beat the crowds to the lift line, as Stowe is expecting 6". Upon her discharge, she will have the help of my Dad around the house but there is quite a shift in her lifestyle so if you wanted 'lend a hand' there is a Meal Calendar that will be updated regularly for meals and grocery runs, as well as gift cards for Amazon and Barnes & Nobles with the idea of those from a distance, perhaps a book might be an easier option. She will probably think I am crazy for suggesting she even needs help and know that none of this she was her request, so a txt, a call, or a card will probably brighten her day more than anything!!
