Meal Train for the Halloways

Providence, RI

Story

One of our fellow moms at Chesterton, Ruth Anne Holloway, has a challenging newborn and eight other young children, seven of them homeschooled. She is very tired and has expressed a need for help with meals (dinners). We could aim for a month of as many meals as possible in order to get her baby through to the next stage. Please, let's roll! Let's help our sister in Christ!

Special Notes

The kids are not huge fans of beans, anything spicy, or cooked veggies. Amazingly, they love raw veggies, including salad! Fresh fruit is a hit, too. We are all scattered geographically; if it is easier for you, Chesterton Academy has allowed us to drop meals off in their refrigerator or freezer and Ruth Anne can pick up after school. Easy! Just make a note of it when you select the "Drop off in person" option; there is no way for us to create a "Drop off at Chesterton" button. Ruth Anne has extra freezer space, so frozen meals will work, too. Number of peeps for your recipes: 8 If you have no time, or talent (just kidding), but a little extra treasure, there's always the Door Dash gift card option. Purchase a dollar amount on the card and leave the ordering up to Ruth Anne. The Halloways' favorite nearby restaurants: Dominoes (or any pizza place really, there's a good one around the corner from us called "La Broa") Apsaras is another local place we like (they take Door dash) El Tapatito in Cranston. (Door dash) KFC Texas Roadhouse
