My oldest and dearest friend from Kindergarten has recently gotten Breast Cancer! She is 57, divorced mother of 6, with an adult handicap daughter...her plate is full! As far back as I can remember, E, (Elisa) is a strong, independent, resilient and loyal friend with a huge heart! She's an amazing mother and friend. I want to be there for her and do something to help her, so I'm starting this page! I live in California and she is in Lake Forest, IL. She is currently well into her chemo; gets radiation and surgery in March and she is in good spirits. I'm reaching out on her behalf...anything would help. She has a very small support system outside of her kids, and everyone is doing what they can, its not enough! She has been a flight attendant for American Airlines for over 30 years but she hasn't been able to work in months. (No money coming in). She has to move in a month and its all challenging while on chemo. Reaching out, if anyone would like to contribute towards meals and bills... anything would be appreciated!
