Mak is a fun kid with a bright future and positive attitude. He went out to ride his bike with two friends one day and a distracted driver ran head on into him at 55 miles per hour changing his life forever! We are all grateful he is still alive and that he is still the same optimist boy he was before this tragedy struck! He will never be the same physically and will have to work really hard to get back to simple things most take for granted. He is a seventeen year old boy that just wanted to ride his bike outside! Now he is hospitalized with severe trauma wounds . He had to have his hand reattached and reconstructed since the car impact ripped it off ! They also reconstructed his right leg since it was ripped to shreds like a bear did it. His left leg had to donate the muscle and skin to the right arm for reconstruction and it is a miracle it is was able to be reattached at all. Mak will never be the same but support and love from family, friends and strangers is what is helping him get through this entire living nightmare. Imaging getting the call that someone drove off the road into your kid and he will be airlifted to the trauma center in Seattle cause they are the only ones that can possibly save his limbs and life!
