Story
Wes has suffered some severe medical emergencies. He was diagnosed with heart failure and sent to the ICU on August 9th. On August 13th, he suffered a severe stroke and had to be airlifted to Roanoke for emergency surgery. While he is out of surgery, his condition is severe. He currently has no mobility on his right hand side of his body and is in danger for additional strokes or heart attack in the coming days. We will know more in the days to come, but at a minimum, he will require many months of therapy. Meanwhile, Natalie is the sole breadwinner for their family and also is caring for their three daughters (Madeleine- 6, Genevieve- 4, Margot- 2). And did I mention that she is 39 weeks pregnant with their 4th daughter? I am asking for your help for Natalie. She will be traveling back and forth between Lexington and Roanoke and could use help with meals, child care, laundry, etc. Her priority should be on her family.
Special Notes
Lexington has limited resources and Walmart gift cards are likely the most helpful. Roanoke has more food and delivery options. Please limit contact with the family for now. Messages of support can be sent to Kelsey ([email protected]).
