Support for Jenny Brenny

Independence, OR

Story

Our dear Jenny and her family were recently hit with the hard news that Jenny has a new diagnosis of T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. This page has been designed to help keep people up to date on Jenny's care as well as to enlist some help from friends and family.  The Brenneman's are such amazing and kind people and they appreciate any and all support.

Special Notes

Jenny will be starting chemotherapy soon, hopefully by 11/14 or 11/15. She is expected to stay at OHSU for at least the next month while receiving large cycles of chemotherapy. As of now radiation is not indicated by her oncologist. Jenny has a very comprehensive team of specialists working on her care, including a OB doctor who will be helping to manage her chemotherapy in order to keep Baby Brenneman safe. Jenny was told as Baby Brenneman is in the second trimester, the biggest risk is low birth weight. Delivery goal will be at 32 weeks during a chemotherapy holiday. One of Jenny's coworkers will be taking Ruger full time and the rest of her Good Samaritan ER family will be assisting with Ruger until Jenny is able to come home. Once Jenny starts Chemo, she will keep us updated on visiting terms.  Her brother Joe will be helping to arrange family members visiting schedule and if you are a friend or coworkers of Jenny's, just send her a text to inquire about a visit. No flowers of any kind allowed, nor sick or ill visitors.   Jenny's husband Kris has found lodging in the PDX area for the next month. He will have to commute to Salem/Albany/Corvallis area for work occasionally. With Kris relocating, they will not need a traditional meal train set up at this time from friends and coworkers, but if you are visiting Jenny or personally contact one of them...I am sure they would love a home cooked meal! For Jenny's meals, they preferably need to be in a smaller container that can be reheated. She does have access to a refrigerator at OHSU to store a meal. Jenny is currently inquiring to her nurses about the instructions for Uber Eats Delivery, if that is something you are interested in doing for her, just contact her via text to make sure she is able to eat and will be in her room at that time upon delivery.     For anyone who would like to donate towards their future household needs, either visa gift cards or cash would be most useful at this point. Good Samaritan Coworkers, you can give your items to/contact Natasha or Carissa. Friends of Jenny and Kris, you can contact them directly for delivery or their physical address and email is listed below: Jenny and Kris Brenneman 1309 Rhoda Lane Independence, OR 97351 Jenny's Email: [email protected] Check back periodically as there will be updates for meal trains and other needs that the Brenneman Family may need.
