Meal Train to support our VW Friend Mark Welch in his loss of his Partner, Karen

Phoenix, AZ

Story

Hello VW Friends! Our long time local VW friend and bretheren, Mark Welch suffered a tremendous loss this week as his lis life partner of 11.5 years, Karen, suddenly passed away while they were in Milwaukee for a square dancing convention. Mark and Karen have for many years been a staple in our VW scene supporting sometimes more than one show, parade or cause in a day and always willing to help donate to any charity or drive that has been put forth into our Community. As they put so much effort into supporting our community, lets show Mark some love by helping him to get through the next couple weeks while he adjusts to life without his best friend and partner by his side. As Mark has no family, WE are his family now and I thank you all for helping to show him we support him during this overwhelmingly sad and challenging time in his life adjusting to doing life alone. If you have ANY questions on how you can help etc, Please contact Angela Crabtree (DM on Facebook is easiest). And, don't forget - if you want to and have time to meet with and deliver or schedule to have a meal With Mark or spend time visiting - that is a nice and welcome gesture too! We will run the Meal train page for 2 weeks (or longer if needed), Ending July 15th. Thank you for helping!!!!!!

Special Notes

There is a WishList (which I will occassionally update) If you would like to help out by donating a gift card for a meal.
