In April 2026, Bob was diagnosed with Stage IV Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma with Central Nervous System (CNS) involvement, a rare and highly aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. What began as concerns about his health quickly turned into emergency hospitalization, extensive testing, blood transfusions, and the start of intensive treatment. Since his diagnosis, Bob has undergone aggressive chemotherapy, multiple hospitalizations, and two ICU stays. The past several months have been some of the most difficult our family has ever faced. Despite the seriousness of his diagnosis and the challenges along the way, Bob continues to fight with incredible strength and determination. While the road ahead remains uncertain, his medical team believes there is still a meaningful possibility of recovery, and we remain committed to that fight every single day. Cancer affects far more than a diagnosis. Between treatment, recovery, transportation, dietary restrictions, hospital stays, household expenses, and time away from work, our daily lives have changed dramatically. The practical realities of navigating cancer have become nearly as overwhelming as the disease itself. Many people have reached out asking how they can help. After a lot of encouragement and more than a little reluctance on my part, I finally realized there is no reason for us to stand in the way of the kindness and support people have been offering. This page serves as a central place for updates, information, and opportunities for those who would like to support us during this journey. Whether through prayers, meals, groceries, gift cards, transportation assistance, sharing resources, or simply following along, every act of kindness helps lighten the load and reminds us that we are not fighting alone. The last few months have been hard. Truly hard. But we are still here. We are still fighting. We are still hopeful. Thank you for walking beside us. With gratitude, Kaylee & Bob ❤️
Special Notes Bob is currently following a low microbial diet during treatment. Helpful items may include: • Canned tuna (one of Bob's favorites 😊) • Shelf-stable pantry items • Baked beans • Sealed snacks • Grocery gift cards • Walmart, Fry's/Kroger, Safeway/Albertsons, Amazon, Visa, or gas gift cards Meals & Food Support Several people have asked about providing meals, and we are incredibly grateful for the kindness. Freshly prepared hot meals, soups, casseroles, freezer meals, and fully cooked proteins are often the easiest options for us right now. If you'd like to help with a meal, please feel free to contact Kaylee first so we can coordinate timing and make sure it fits Bob's current dietary needs. Please avoid: • Raw or undercooked foods • Deli meats unless heated thoroughly • Foods prepared several days in advance • Home-canned foods • Unpasteurized products If you're unsure whether something is okay, please feel free to ask first. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, encouragement, and support. ❤️
