Story
Breann welcomed Leah Louise and Grace Ruth into the world on May 12th at 12:20 and 12:22 AM. They were the best Mother's Day gift! The twins were 33 weeks and both weighed 3 lbs 9 ounces. They sure knew how to come into the world with quite a story! On May 5th, Breann got through a horse lesson with minor contractions and they started really picking up when she was feeding horses. She called the doctor and was told me to come in. Contractions continued to pick up, she was dilated a bit, so that was enough to earn them a trip on the helicopter to Omaha. As they landed, she ruptured, so the goal was to seize labor and keep her stable until an induction date on May 18. Labor got seized and everyone looked great; but she had to stay in the hospital, so the waiting began. On May 11, feisty little Leah’s placenta began detaching itself from the uterus, so they went in for an emergency C-Section. They spent 37 days growing in the NICU at UNMC in Omaha. Grace was discharged on June 15 weighing 5 lbs 10 oz. Leah was discharged on June 18 weighing 5 lbs 13 oz. The girls are finally home and doing great! Please help us support Breann in her motherhood journey with her two precious girls by providing her with meals and support. We know many of her family and friends don't live close enough to bring her a meal, so you can also contribute via giftcard or Venmo. Thank you for your support!
