Supporting the Hillhouses

Story

For some that don't know, Gabriel suffered what we were told was a minor heart attack paired with extremely high blood pressure back on April 1. They discovered that he also had an aneurysm on his aortic valve. Since then, he has continued to have high blood pressure and occasional chest pain. After 3 more visits to the ER, multiple CT scans, and ambulance trips, they discovered that his aneurysm was growing faster than they had hoped. With that, they scheduled him for open heart surgery. What was supposed to be a 4 hour operation, turned into nearly 6 hours because they discovered something that they had missed in every single CT scan. Along with his initial heart attack, his aortic wall had torn open. His surgeon said that he should have bled out and this is an injury that should have killed him. Luckily, God thought otherwise, and his wife and 2 precious children (6 years old and 4 years old) still have Gabriel at home today! Now, as Gabe is recovering, Mikayla is left to be his primary caregiver and will also be taking a financial hit. Gabriel is always helping out when he can, and now with this help, he will be able to focus on himself and making a full recovery. All the funds will go to help with bills and to supplement his income since he will be out of work for a while. Any and all help is very much appreciated to spare some of the financial burden on this amazing family. Thank you
