Story
Hey friends! Baby Ashton is here!! He's a heart melter just like his big brother š„°. Truly insurmountable joy to see my two boys together. The birth went beautifully as so many of you reassured me it would. I ignored the Drs orders to stay in bed and decided to mop and vacuum when I got home. I felt so good I thought I could run a marathon! However, I'm definitely regretting that now and taking those bed rest orders seriously for the next week. Fortunately, we've been able to get some sleep since we've been home. However, with a 2yo and two dogs life is going to be pretty hectic till I've recovered and we get into a good rhythm. We are so fortunate that Mark is able to get some time off of work to bond with Ashton and take care of me and Cailen. It's a lot to put on his shoulders. We would be ever so appreciative of some help with things like grocery delivery if you're visiting from town, meals would be awesome, dog walks, and getting Cailen out for some playtime out of the house child care. Also, just stopping in to deliver hugs and smiles will be really appreciated too š! We love our community and I'm just bursting to share our newest bundle of precious with you all. Thank you so much for all the love and well wishes and encouragement you've given that got us through this pregnancy xoxo!
Special Notes
Meal notes: No food allergies, but please no seafood. We love pasta and cheese here, Mexican, Italian, and Thai dishes are all welcome too! Dog notes: King is our 170lb malamute who does really well on leashed walks. Sherlock our 40lb lab/beagle has a tendency to pull a bit on the leash. They both do well off leash on trails as well. We typically take them to Salmon Creek Trail or the trail by the ranger station. Childcare: we have an extra car seat for Cailen if needed. There's a little pump track behind our house, Diamond View Park, that he likes to go run the hills. His favorite park around here is Salmon Creek Park.
