Support for Jim Strattner

Whitingham, VT

Story

As many of you know, Jim had an accident at work resulting in a shattered knee cap and quite a few stitches on his face. His surgery to repair the knee on Monday August 19 went well, however he will be in a full leg cast for 8 weeks. His cuts are healing nicely. At this point in time Jim mainly needs help with getting lunch while Suzie is at work. (You dont have to bring lunch with you, but you are welcome to). And Suzie could use a little support with meals over the next few weeks as they adjust to Jim's current mobility status. Rides to physical therapy may also be needed once Jim is ready to work on strengthening his leg again, hopefully around mid-September.

Special Notes

Please call first to set up a time to visit if you'd like to keep him company - managing pain and resting is a priority for the first 4 weeks. He does enjoy a good conversation to break up the reading and sleeping, so don't be shy!
