Written on behalf of Mike and Leslie Schweitzer by their family. Yesterday, our parents, Mike and Leslie Schweitzer, experienced the devastating loss of their home as a result of a terrible fire. We are so grateful for their safety after an outlet short circuited in their garage, taking their home and everything in it. They had just moved all of their belongings cross-country to Pinehurst about a month ago. I am humbly asking the community for support — This could look like a meal, your time, your prayers, or a donation. Any funds raised will be used to help cover the cost of losing virtually everything they own and providing them with comfort measures as they rebuild — basic care products, food, clothing, and all that won’t be covered by insurance. It will be a long road for them and we’re eager to ease their burden.
