Story
Jenny’s journey with Metastatic Breast Cancer began June 13. Within a week of the diagnosis she had been evaluated by a breast cancer surgeon and referred to an oncologist. The next 3 weeks were consumed with appointments; more biopsies on the other breast, CT Scans, endocrinologist visit to place her on insulin while undergoing chemo, heart tests, bloodwork and major dental work. It was determined that Jenny would have chemo first then surgery, radiation, hormone therapy, physical therapy and prayerfully reconstructive surgery. Both of her daughters have remained strong and supportive. Savannah is now the family driver and a support in helping with Izzy when she is not working. Your prayers and love successfully saw her complete the first “Red Devil” chemo appointment on July 24. We value and appreciate everyone who cheered her on through a prayer, text, FB comment, card or thoughtful gift❤️ . We waited until Jenny went through this first round of chemo to assess the need for help before posting this page. We think the calendar will evolve and continue to change as we get further into treatment. Jenny’s Cancer Journey will last for over a year. We will post mid month for needs for the next. Please reach out to Bita or me if you have any questions or thoughts. Chrissy will continue to post updates on her journey on FB. “How is Jenny doing” ❤️
