On June 7, 2024, heaven gained an angel, and we lost a beloved one. Our dear mother, Angiela B. Tanzie, passed away unexpectedly, which has been a tremendous shock. Angiela touched countless lives with her kindness, wisdom, and dedication. She was more than a mother to her own children; she was a mother figure to many, always showing up with unwavering support and love. Her home was a haven for friends and family, a place where everyone felt welcomed and cherished. Angiela had a remarkable ability to make each person feel special and understood, offering guidance and encouragement in times of need. Her impact extended beyond her family to her community and her students, whom she nurtured with the same care and commitment. Angiela’s influence was profound, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and strength will continue to inspire us. We are deeply moved by the outpouring of generosity and support.
