Story
This page was suggested by one of my nurses at Mayo Clinic. It’s not always easy to ask for help but it’s what the doctor recommended. October 7th will be my surgery for open craniotomy aneurysm. This surgery is to open up my skull and clamp off the aneurysm at the base to prevent the aneurysm from filling up. I should return home the 9th or 10th. It will take at least 6 weeks to recover. During this process it is crucial that I lift no more than 5lbs. Which will be INCREDIBLY hard. I can’t risk pressure on my brain, this could cause it to rupture and that is life threatening. I would like to ask for some meals to help. I am thankful that my kids are very independent but we need help. Everyone struggles with WHAT TO MAKE FOR DINNER, so any help is appreciated. For those who don’t live here and ask what ordering out options there are in ordering to buy a gift card; Casey’s (pizza), subway, Hardee’s, Hyvee, and a couple local restaurants. Thanks!!! Love Always Stocker-Khan Family
