On Monday, April 8th, Mamaw took a tumble while weeding out her flower bed. She had a hemi-arthroplasty (a partial hip replacement) on Tuesday, April 9th. Unfortunately, she broke her hip on the same side affected by her stroke in 2021. She will be spending at least three weeks in a nursing home/rehab facility. We are trying to do what we can to help at home with papaw. Our hope is that this will allow her to focus on physical therapy and healing to get strong enough to go home.
