Story
Dear Friends, As many of you know, our beloved friend Julie is about to face a challenging surgery. In this time of need, let’s come together to support her and her family, allowing Julie to focus on what truly matters: her healing. How You Can Help: Meals: Preparing and delivering meals can be a tremendous gift. If you’re able to cook or provide takeout, please consider signing up for a day or two. Your kindness will be a source of comfort during this time. Household Services: Offering to help with chores—like grocery shopping, or running errands—can really lighten her load. We have hired someone to help with simple household chores like laundry and dishes during recovery. Activities for the Kiddos: Organizing playdates or sending fun, kid-friendly activities for Bennett and Evelyn will be a wonderful way to ease their days while Julie focuses on recovering. We’ll be coordinating these efforts through this site, but if you’d like to make special arrangements, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Julie's mom, Karen Johnson, at 201-563-9785 or her husband, Benjamin Roberts, at 731-415-9217. Thank you for surrounding Julie with your love and support during this important time. Your compassion will mean the world to Julie, Benjamin, Bennett, and Evelyn!
Special Notes
There are no dietary restrictions in the Roberts family, but we ask for no spicy foods for the little ones. Julie will be trying to focus on anti-inflammatory foods post surgery, including lean meats, fruits and lots of veggies. As Julie needs time to rest and heal, we are requesting no visitors for the first few weeks after surgery. Please coordinate all deliveries and drop offs with her mom. Once Julie is feeling up for seeing folks, we will update the site.
