Hello friends, and family, I am making this meal train to help make things more comfortable for Fran, and Mitch as Fran begins several weeks of radiation. In January Fran was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. In March she had surgery, and they were able to remove all of the cancer. Luckily, the cancer had not spread. Fran is healing up well, but in the second week of May she will begin several weeks of radiation. As, we all know radiation can take a toll on the body, as Fran is still recovering from surgery. Six years ago Fran adopted four of her grandchildren. With one off to college, she has three growing boys at home. During this time of recovery, I believe it takes a village to help. 😊 Fran deserves right now to be able to relax, and heal so that she has a long, happy, healthy life with her grandchildren. What will help her, and her family the most right now is help with dinners during these procedures for next several weeks. I will include in the comment section her venmo info. You can sign up to send food gift cards, food delivered, venmo money for food to be ordered, Costco, and Sam's club have tasty pre-made meals, etc....this little bit of help with dinners as Fran heals, helps so much!
