Story
Emily recently had to have a Midfoot Joint Fusion at the first, second, and third metatarsals at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO on July 18th due to a foot injury back in the beginning of May from fall going to her basement which resulted in 9 foot fractures. The surgery went as expected however she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. She has been in a lot of pain from the surgery and does not feel up to doing much. She will be non-weight bearing for a minimum of 6 weeks. It will take up to 12 weeks for the bones to reunion. Currently, she is not able to drive and will be unlikely be able to for the next 6 weeks. Emily is married and has 5 children, ages 17 years old, 15 years old, 7 years old, 6 years old, and a 10 month old. It would be a big help to her to bring her family a meal, stop by and visit with her, help entertain the kids, or even just run an errand for her. She is very appreciative of any help she receives and is not used to being down and unable to do for herself and her family.
