Supporting Adele Sonora

Davis, Ca 95618, CA

Story

2019 UPDATE on Adele: After chemo in 2014 for Stage IV follicular lymphoma (a slow-growing non-hodgkin's) and four years remission, the lymphoma came back in 2018. It relapsed suddenly as already Stage IV and was also becoming aggressive! Not a welcome situation. Her oncologist wanted a bone marrow transplant done the end of June 2019, but the process seemed very difficult with a lot of hospital time and a lot of long-term side effects -- and not a sure thing at all. After learning that her situation offered a "poor prognosis", she decided to see a lymphoma specialist at UC Davis, who thought waiting a few more months might be okay to repeat the PET scan in November 2019 -- and decide what to do then. A stronger round of chemo could be possible then, with probably more long-term side effects. Apparently a relapsed partly aggressive lymphoma is not clear cut. Neither the bone marrow transplant nor chemo offer a cure, just maybe more survival, or not. So she decided to find and pursue any alternatives out there to get more time. The world of alternative healing then opened itself up, with all the strategies that are available for fighting cancer. Unfortunately, health insurance does not pay for these, no matter how well they work! She now has a bigger team to help her.... not only dear family and friends who are a great and invaluable support, but also an oncology naturopath, an integrative oncologist, a functional medicine doctor, and a very supportive primary care doctor -- as well as all those who have gone before with their vast stores of information and experience. With everyone's help, she's keeping the aggressive cancer somewhat stable day-to-day (through supplements, diet, fasting, and alternative treatments), and hoping for a better outcome in months to come. Many have asked what they can do to support her, and what she might need. The biggest need right now is donations for the anti-cancer supplements and natural treatments (e.g., injections) that are helping that health insurance does not pay for. It's costing hundreds over her current monthly resources. Most of the healing supplements are purchased on Amazon, so an Amazon prime gift card would be very helpful (of any amount) -- click on the "From Wishlist". Donations via PayPal would also be extremely helpful (see the PayPal donation button.) If you'd rather donate by mail, please email for the address at: [email protected] Knowing that you're concerned and thinking of her means the most and she appreciates that more than anything -- please keep those healing intentions for her coming! And please feel free to post comments, or email, or text. Or contact her for more information at: [email protected] For more details on her situation and strategies, please see her blog at: https://innerspase.blogspot.com You can subscribe to the blog to get regular updates by email. She also hopes to make some prints of her artwork in the near future that you can buy as a way of supporting her. Photos of her artwork will be posted on the blog above. And thank you again for all your kind thoughts, well wishes, and support!!!
