Celebration of Life In Memory of Adventure Bags, Inc President Debbie Gori

Winder, GA

Story

President/Founder of Adventure Bags, Inc Debbie Gori, gained her wings on Saturday, July 29, 2019 and is now resting in peace after a battle with lung cancer. Over the last 7yrs, through this organization she created, Debbie was able to serve over 31,000 and counting children all over the state of Georgia through her book-bags to Ga most vulnerable children. She often said that the reason she does this is that every child across Ga deserves to smile and be loved no matter the circumstances.  She requested in her final days for her family to ensure that all of the agencies and communities that we serve knew that Adventure Bags was not going anywhere and that we were rebuilding and are going to be a bigger force then before. Her children, along with her board, made her a promise that we would ensure that her legacy continued. She has been able to serve over 132 counties across the state since Oct of 2011 not only to DFCS offices, but also DV shelters, law enforcement, and local private FC agencies. She was and is a true advocate and community partner across the state of GA! Her goal was to be able to eventually serve and continue to serve all 159 counties across Georgia.  Debbie Gori leaves behind her partner for Life Chris Ulmer who stole her heart 7yrs ago, her daughters Tracey McMahon and Niki Armstrong, her two grandsons Cole and Alec McMahon, her grand kitties Sampson, Annabelle, Jeffrey, and her fur babies Linus, Daisy, Addie and Levine.  Adventure Bags, Inc.  Celebration of Life in memory of Debbie Gori  July 14, 2019  Winder Community Center  113 East Athens Street  Winder, Ga 30680 Service at 11:00am followed by a fellowship luncheon.
