Hannah and Blaine are (more than) ready to welcome Baby Slack (hopefully) soon! This meal train will support them during the exciting, challenging, all-consuming newborn weeks. Friends and family near and far can contribute to this dinner meal train via delivery from local restaurants, food gift cards, or home-cooked meals. Thank you all so much for your support! Thank you so much for considering to help out! Please note that when you sign up to help on a given date, you will be able to note the type of food you will be delivering/bringing OR directly purchase a gift card. Please text Blaine (773-217-2032) the morning of on the day you volunteered so that he’s aware they will have dinner coming. If you are interested in delivering yourself, please create a plan with Blaine beforehand to see if they are up for visitors or if it is a better day to just do a drop off instead. If Delivering From a Local Restaurant: - Please order online on the day you've signed up to help. - Hannah and Blaine's address is 2052 N Lincoln Park W and preferred drop off time is 5:00-6:00pm. - Copy and paste the following into the delivery instructions box: Enter the building through the revolving doors and then ring the bell. Aloha Poke (https://www.alohapokeco.com/menu/): Tofu Bowl Salmon Bowl If Delivering a Home Cooked Meal: - Delivery will ideally be between 5:00-6:00pm; please text Blaine at 773-217-2032 day of to give him a better idea of your timing (and no worries if it needs to be at another time, just text Blaine to coordinate please!). - When you arrive, head through the revolving doors, then ring the bell and stop at the front desk. Either Blaine will come down or tell the front desk you're heading up to the Slack's in #608 (whatever you have pre-coordinated with Blaine). If you're going up, head to the 6th floor, turn right, then the first left. - Please deliver food in containers that you are okay getting rid of to cut down on the mental load of returning things. - Hannah is vegetarian and Blaine tries not to eat too much red meat. Hannah and Blaine cook mainly vegan at home and are not super picky when it comes to homemade, as long as it’s tasty (no pressure)! I (Haley) have cooked a lot of delicious vegetarian and vegan meals so if you'd like recommended recipes, text me (847-340-5420). - They have limited fridge/freezer space, so while I’m sure they’d love bulk meals, they probably do not have space to store it!
