Carol Allen, recuping from pulmonary embolism

Princeton, NJ

Story

Carol Allen is recuperating from a large pulmonary embolism that brought her to the Princeton ER on Jan 26th, and then to Penn ICU and acute care. As of discharge from Penn on Feb 3rd, her next step is a rehab stint at St. Lawrence in Lawrenceville, where she will do several weeks of frequent physical therapy to get back on her feet. As the big clot in both lungs dissolves itself and as she gets stronger again, her mind & spirits will be lifted by conversations and visits with friends, kin, and community! If you are able and willing to provide one of the Grandma duties she is currently sidelined from doing or do another task to help our family in this complicated time, please check the Calendar, and THANK YOU!

Special Notes

Carol enjoys visitors and it perks her up a lot, so please drop by. She does best with calls and visitors in the daytime hours and the best times are around 9am to 6pm. She usually has her cell phone at hand, (609) 902-9140. St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center is at (609) 896-9500, nurses station x2281, and her room extension is x4527, Room #419a.
