As most of you know, my mom was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer that has spread to her liver.  Upon meeting with doctors at UNC yesterday we are stronger than ever and are going to fight this awful disease.  My mom wants to go full force.  Nothing in the world matters more to her than her 3 grandsons, she's not ready to say goodbye. Unfortunately, with the battle ahead she will have many grueling days and that is why I am creating this page.  I know her friends and family want to be here for her.  I also know that she will say NO don't come.  She doesn't want anyone to have to go out of their way to help her. But she needs you here.  She needs support. She needs strength. And most of all she needs lots of LOVE!!!!  So with this calendar, I am hoping we can get things scheduled so she doesn't have to deal with the planning and coordinating of everyone's schedules.  Honestly, it is the last thing she needs to worry about.  We need her to focus on keeping strong and healthy so she can fight this.   Either my dad, my brother, and I will be traveling every other week to UNC with her for treatments.  These days will be hard for them.  So if you want to bring them dinner or take their dog for a walk, we welcome you too.   I am writing this because my friends and family are my rock and with your support I believe we have a fighting chance. also want to thank everyone who has already helped us.  We truly appreciate everything.
