Hey there! So many people have shared their love, prayers, and offers to support Grandma and Grandpa (Judy and Paul) during her cancer treatment. As much as Grandma has always been a stubborn ol' lady (I love you, Grandma ;), now she needs some help. Grandma has always done the driving and cooking and household things. Grandpa is very hard of hearing and isn't able to drive. Grandma has daily appointments at 10:30 for radiation, chemo is expected to follow on Wednesdays and be every three weeks. The biggest need is food and perhaps some help taking care of the house. She says Wednesdays are the best to come help with the house. Freezer meals are a big help, so are things that can be warmed up in the microwave. We'll update this page as we know more and as their needs change. As they say, it takes a village. Thanks for coming together to support Grandma and Grandpa during this challenging time. Love, Meadow and all the kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and extended friends and family
Thank you for offering to help. In terms of meals, Grandma really needs calorie dense food. She needs to gain weight before she can start treatment. She also cannot have any dark green leafy vegetables, peanuts, peppers. Also be mindful of how much onion. It is best to detail ingredients on any item you are bringing out.
