Urine Good Hands, Sue!

Malplewood, MN

Story

Sue found out just recently that she has had a kinked ureter heading into her kidney since birth. This has been affecting her for most of her life and became acute in the last couple of months. She went in to the ER in sepsis and has been living with "the life saving little bag" waiting for surgery to remove the non-working kidney and rid her body of this long term stress and infection.

Special Notes

Sue does not like peppers of any kind. Please do not put mustard or mayonnaise in meals for her, or BBQ sauce. Joe is less particular. Sue and Joe are both gluten free. Sue prefers warm food - salads and sandwiches are difficult for her digestion, they are fine for Joe. Sue would love a tater tot hot dish and some gluten free pasta options early on - that will help her jump start digestion after surgery. Hamburger, chicken, and fish are great. Pasta sauce is nice with no peppers. Soups are good. Think warm cozy food.
