Love for the Kamm-Knudsens

APPLETON, WI

Story

We all love Jen, Andrew, Madeline, and Oliver. They are wise, kind, beautiful people. In July, Jen was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her mastectomy happens on August 19. There's a 6-week recovery from this initial surgery, and several more surgeries in the coming year. Two weeks after the mastectomy, there will be more information about further treatment (e.g., radiation, chemo). As Jen moves through this challenging time, you can support the K-K family by providing meals and meeting other requests, as needed. *Keep an eye on this page! We'll post updates here about Jen's treatment.* Feel free to share the page with others. (Jen's not on social media, so we may have missed folks who want to help.) Thanks for your generosity! Your kindness makes a difference. Y'all are awesome.🙏

Special Notes

The K-Ks are not picky eaters. They eat meat and love veggies. Their only request is nothing too spicy food (for the kids :). Address: 628 N Leminwah St, Appleton On the front porch, there's a cooler where you can place the meal. They typically eat at 6:30p. If you want containers returned, make a note. They'll message when you can pick them back up on the porch. Homemade food is welcome. If it's more convenient or if you live out of town, you can order from one of their favorite restaurants: Taco House, Mai's Deli, Far East, Basil Cafe, Thai Ginger Bistro, and Christianos Pizza. You can purchase a gift card to any of these restaurants on https://www.giftly.com/. It can be sent to Andrew at canoedsen@gmail.com. Thank you!
