The Williams family has been walking through an incredibly difficult season and could use the support of their community. Over the past few months, their son Jonathan has experienced a serious mental health crisis connected to complex trauma from early childhood. After running away from home in December and several attempts to stabilize the situation, Jonathan is currently in juvenile detention and will be transferring on March 11 to a residential treatment program at Idaho Youth Ranch in Southern Idaho. While this is a hopeful step toward getting him the help he needs, the process leading up to it has been exhausting for the entire family. Melissa has been carrying the enormous administrative and emotional load of coordinating Jonathan’s care — managing countless phone calls, emails, and extensive documentation from years of medical, therapy, and counseling records required for admission and insurance approval. At the same time she continues working part-time and homeschooling their youngest daughter, Hannah. John is working as much as he can to support the family financially while helping hold everyone together emotionally. Their daughters, Grace and Hannah, have also been deeply affected by everything happening. Each member of the family is experiencing significant stress. Right now, one of the most helpful ways we can support the Williams family is by providing meals and a few practical helps, allowing them to focus their time and energy on navigating this season and supporting their kids. The practical needs that are most urgent include a deep cleaning of the house, dishwasher, and bathtub repair. We all know that the silent to do list in our homes can tip the scale during hard seasons. If you would like to help with these household needs, we're raising funds via the venmo tab to hire a house cleaner and a plumber. If you can help directly with these needs that would also be wonderful! Thank you for surrounding this family with care, prayer, and practical support. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
No food allergies or restrictions. Anything is great! After the 16th, there will be more opportunities to share a meal. Please keep your eyes out for updates.
