Angel Lhor is a young mother of five who is currently facing an incredibly difficult and unexpected journey. Angel recently suffered a stroke and is now dealing with significant physical challenges, including the loss of function in her left leg. She will need various types of therapy and rehabilitation as she works toward recovery. Doctors have also discovered two small holes in her heart and another open valve. At this time, her medical team is still determining what the next steps will be. Anyone who knows Angel knows that she is one of the most kind-hearted, giving, and dependable people you could ever meet. She is the person who opens her home to anyone who needs a place to stay, without hesitation. If you're ever sick, Angel is the person who will show up with what feels like the entire pharmacy just to make sure you're taken care of. She has spent so much of her life caring for and helping others. Now, Angel and her family need us. Her biggest concern right now is making sure her five children are fed and cared for while she focuses on healing. Their father is continuing to work to support the household, and providing meals would take one very important responsibility off his shoulders during this incredibly stressful time. Our main goal is simple: help keep this family fed while Angel focuses on her recovery.
