As many of you are aware, our beloved Noah Sanchez, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment. He received his first round two weeks ago and will be going to Valley Children's Hospital for his second round on August 20th - 23rd, and the third round on September 11th - 14th. Because of his compromised immune system during this treatment, Noah will have to avoid social gatherings and will be unable to attend school this semester. He will be placed in home schooling for the time being. We would like to set up a meal train to help his family and take some of the load off their plate during this time. Noah's father works out of town during the week, his two older sisters both work full time jobs and attend school, and his mother, who is caring for Noah and staying with him at the hospital during treatment, also attends school, all the while caring for Noah's little brother, Jordan, who starts school on August 18th. Noah has been a blessing to those of us who know him from Cornerstone Church. He is part of the CY Youth group and serves faithfully in the Sunday morning tech team ministry. You may have seen him during service working the cameras or up in the tech booth. Noah and his family all believe in God's healing power and have complete faith that he will be healed. Please lift them in prayer during this time and if the Lord places it on your heart to bless them with a meal, please sign up for any date available. The prioity dates would be during his stays in the hospital (8/20-8/23 & 9/11-9/14), as his mom stays with him and is unable to cook for the family. All meal blessings on other dates are all greatly appreciated. 🙏
The family has no allergies. Foods to avoid would be any fish or seafood. Suggestions would be: pizza, spaghetti, Mexican food, lasagna, quesadillas/bean burritos w/rice & beans, teriyaki chicken w/rice, meat loaf, etc.
