I made this to have one place where those able to help may collaborate and ensure Bensen is taken care of at all times. This surgery is going to be significant, and I likely won’t be able to help Bensen much for up to a year. Doing anything against the doctors orders could create major complications and a failed surgery. I cannot bend, nor twist, for 3 months. During that time I’ll be in bed, or taking short walks. It appears the pain will be significant, and I am hopeful I can care for myself after surgery, but am seeking more information about this. I did not create this to receive gift cards, nor donations, but any help would be appreciated.
Bensen can only have thickened liquids. 4 oz liquid per packet. He cannot have “watery” foods such as grapes, watermelon, ice cream, pineapple, etc. His balance is not great. He needs his hand held at times. Needs help getting up/down stairs, and getting into/out of vehicles.
